1.) You will be staying on the Campus of Hastings College in Hastings, NE. Check in will be Thursday June 9th at 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Hazelrigg Student Union located at 9th and Elm Street. No Lunch will be served on Thursday so please eat before you check in! If your family needs to reach you at some point they can reach the campus number 402-463-2402 during office hours, after 6:00 PM for emergencies call 402-432-3195

2.) Please bring the following items:

    1. Your own bedding (Sleeping Bag, Pillow and Blankets)

    2. Towels

    3. All Personal Care items, Soap, Shampoo etc.

    4. Most Important, bring your own shoes, shin guards and practice ball.

3.) The Shrine Classic will provide you souvenir T-shirt, different than the ones sold at the game. A Classic Lanyard, you will be issued a jersey, pants and socks. You will be able to keep your socks, but you must return the jersey and pants after the game.

4.) Your luggage (except your soccer bag) will be stored in the locker room at the stadium for you between checkout Saturday morning and the end of the game. At that time you can claim your luggage with the return of your uniforms.

5.) Important !!!!!! It is important that your parents know this information prior to the banquet. Please make sure you print this off and give them a copy.

The Banquet will be held at the Masonic Temple 411 North Hastings that would be 2 blocks East of 4th Street off Burlington -Hwy 281 That is the main street coming in to Hastings from the North. The Banquet will start at 6:30 PM. I would suggest that you try and be there by 6:00 PM.  

Dinner for the player and two family members tickets are compliments of the Shrine Soccer Classic.

• Other family members, •relatives and friends are welcome to attend at a cost of $10.00 per ticket which can be purchased at the door. Dress for the banquet is business casual.

• There will be souvenirs and programs sold at the banquet and at the game. Caps, visors, gambler hats, koozies, team pictures and T-shirts (these will be different from the players) all profits go to The Shrine Hospitals for Children.

• After the dinner, we will retire to the auditorium where each coach, player and honorary captains will be introduced. We will then show a short film about the Shrine Hospitals and patients. Just remember that is why we are all here. After that we will have a live auction. The parents, relatives and friends will be bidding on autograph balls signed by all the players and coaches of the 2011 Shrine Soccer Classic. These are great mementos from this event. And this is 100% tax deductable. So have your parents bring their checkbooks, for this is truly a fun time! We will also have 2 Men's and Women's Season Ticket's from Creighton University for the 2011 Season.

6.) Because all net proceeds from this event go directly to support patients in the Shrine Hospitals for Children. Please help us fill the Osborne Sports Complex (12TH Elm) by telling people you might know about the game. All game tickets are General Admission. Ticket will be $5.00 for both Adults and Youth. Ticket will be available at the front gate of the Sports Complex. The Girls’ Teams will play at 12:00 Noon immediately after the Shrine Soccer Parade, downtown Hastings. Then at 2:30 PM the Boys’ team will square off. Should be a fun day for everyone.

7.) This year we will be headquartering out of the Holiday Inn Express.  We have a block of rooms for the Shrine Soccer Classic. The room will be reduced to $99.95 That will include indoor pool, great rooms (coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, dvd player, 200 movies to pick front at front desk and flat screen t.v. Also they have a fabulous breakfast includes the following: (eggs, biscuits/gravy, sausage, muffins, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, begals, dry cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, milk, coffee, (decaf), apple and orange juice. It is located approx. 15 miles south of Interstate 80 on exit 312 south on Osborne Expressway. It will be on the west side of the street just south of the Walmart.
